We are proposing the Giara trekking in different modalities, including the daytime and evening/nighttime ones, for greater immersion in the wild atmosphere of this uncontaminated place.
Hiking is of medium/simple difficulty, the greatest difficulty being the often stony and muddy terrain.
In both cases, we will start from the territory of the municipality of Tuili, and from there we will take one of the few natural ‘staircases’ that can give us access to the plateau.
Passing through oak woods and Pinnetos (old shepherds’ houses), we will then go in search of the most important and wildest marshland of the Giara: Pauli Majori, following the alternative paths that the animals open to avoid getting too wet.
We will pass through the wetlands, proposing an unprecedented tour that will allow us to scout its wilder sides and, with a bit of luck, spot the wild Cavallino della Giara.
The participation fee includes: guided accompaniment with RAS (Regione Autonoma della Sardegna) certified guides, covered by RC insurance.
